Poor quality film? Grayscale imaging available
Faded or damaged original film or duplicates require meticulous handling. High resolution or grayscale imaging may be needed or the film may simply require cleaning, duplication or image cropping. Historical value may call for fine details to be captured in order to get the look and feel of the original documents, for preservation or research. Mass distribution may require various formats of the same images and data. Production based scanning of large quantities requires experienced personnel and time tested procedures to ensure quality is checked throughout the various stages of the conversion, including upload and user review. Indexes for the scanned images need to be verified or validated against an existing database, to ensure accuracy. Images and corresponding data have to be submitted on a scheduled basis for upload to your specific system for review by management and users. Don't have an archive system? Storage and access from CD or DVD is also an option. Please ask for details.
Image and data delivery format, timelines and media need to be considered; searchable CD/DVD databases can serve as a contingency back up or for day-to-day use. Image formats include TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PCX, PDF and more….. |
